National Business Development Executive, IMPACT Group

Cheryl is the National Business Development Executive for IMPACT Group – a Transition Company, where she brings over 16 years experience in the areas of Career Transition and Outplacement, Leadership Development and Management, Human Resources, and Business Development. She formed and is President of Career Vision Group, LLC, a consulting firm that focuses on career transition and career management and training. She works with candidates one-on-one who are in transition or are looking to better manage or change their careers. Prior to this role she was the Vice President of Consulting Services for Mulling Corporation.

Cheryl is also a participating panelist with the "Real Stories from the Trenches" group that conducts programs for female university students delivered by real women who have…Been There…Done That…and are still doing it! She conducts workshops on various HR topics and has established, along with some partners who are HR professionals, a company The HR Annex, to provide HR outsourcing to companies. She formed a leadership development and networking group - Connections by Design, for senior leaders. Cheryl is currently on the board of NAAAHR as the VP of Plans and Programs. She is a Job Club Leader for Women-for-Hire and is about to launch a Job Club in the Atlanta area called "Let's Nail It".

Cheryl has over 20 years of business development experience securing government contracts and business with private sector companies. She has extensive experience as Project Director for 13 Career Centers for the Army, nine career transition centers for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), three career transition centers and 81 field locations for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She established a state-of-the-art career center for Dell Computers, when they displaced 5,000 employees from the company. Cheryl also worked for Delta Air Lines as the General Manager of Talent Acquisition. She was formerly the co-host of a weekly radio talk show, At Work for Georgia Public Broadcasting.

Cheryl earned a Bachelors degree in Advertising and a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Development. She has been married to her husband Vic for 28 years and is the mother of two daughters Jessica, a graduate of UT and Lindsay a sophomore at GCSU.
