Julius Pryor III is an innovative strategic evangelist. General Managing Partner of JPryorGroup LLC, he is a speaker and strategic consultant in high demand. He speaks about how to be relevant in the 21st century.

Mr. Pryor has served as:

  • Vice President, Global Diversity Coca-Cola Enterprises. Developed strategic plan for diversity and inclusion. Defined outcomes for workforce and marketplace objectives.
  • Vice President, Global Diversity, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Group. Fostered innovative thinking regarding new products and customer relationships. Established fresh approaches to managing workforce, workplace and global marketplace. Built proven record of success, in pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer product business units around the world.
  • Director, Diversity Strategies, Russell Corporation - branded apparel company best known for Russell Athletic®, Jerzees®, and Spalding® lines. Reported directly to Chairman and CEO. Developed initiatives that dramatically improved company’s revenue by increasing market share with new customers. Emphasized marketplace outcomes and business results.
  • Manager, TAP Pharmaceuticals - joint venture: Abbott Laboratories, Takeda Pharmaceuticals of Japan. Worked in and developed National Account Management Team. Managed key relationships at Humana, United Health Care, Wal-Mart, HCA, and V.A. Medical Center System. Developed critical relationship with National Medical Association (NMA). Received awards for building awareness of Prostate Cancer Disease in at-risk communities.
  • U.S. Navy Officer - various commands. Member of historic re-commissioning crew of USS Missouri (BB-63). On board for Missouri’s first major deployment: a circumnavigation of the world. Has been in a number of Navy leadership roles. Completed course work at National Defense University (NDU) and Naval Postgraduate School (NPGS). Mr. Pryor holds the rank of Captain. Certified instructor for the Navy Officer Leadership Development Program.

A sought-after speaker, he has delivered presentations at the Marshall School of Business (USC), Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern), Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto), Ross School of Business (University of Michigan), Johnson School (Cornell), Opus College of Business (University of St. Thomas), Wake Forest University, Auburn University, The Linkage Summit and the Conference Board. He spoke at the inaugural Japanese Diversity and Inclusion Conference (Tokyo).

In March 2010 was Key Note Speaker at first-ever Israeli Diversity Summit in Tel Aviv. He also addressed a special meeting hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

Mr. Pryor is a graduate of Morehouse College (Atlanta, GA) and the Williston Northampton School (Easthampton, MA).
